Codona's & Smugglers Cove with kids
Start with Smugglers Cove if you have toddlers or preschoolers. It has Little Nippers, soft play and role play indoors, while older children can add rides, bowling, golf, karting or laser tag. It can work as a wet-weather backup or a flexible half day, but the activities do not share one ticket or timetable.

For younger children, Smugglers Cove is the main plan. Older siblings can add rides, bowling, golf, karting or laser tag.
- Main planning catch. Check the exact activity before you set off. Smugglers Cove, the amusement park and the indoor venue have different hours and ticket rules.
- Not ideal for. Families who want a quiet, fully indoor visit or one simple admission price may prefer a museum or dedicated toddler venue.

- Smugglers Cove is strongest for toddlers and preschoolers. Little Nippers has a maximum height of 42 inches; the main Cove and outdoor tree huts have a 58-inch maximum. Older children can use other activities if they meet the rules.
- Visit shape
- Allow anything from a shorter Smugglers Cove visit to a flexible half day if you add rides, indoor activities or food.
- Opening pattern
- The amusement park runs 12pm-5pm during Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire school holidays, and at weekends outside the holidays. Smugglers Cove runs 10am-5pm Monday-Friday and 10am-6pm at weekends; check the live page because times may change.
- Smugglers Cove prices
- Smugglers Cove has height-based pricing for unlimited play. Check the current charge before travelling; the website still shows a July–August offer. Children under 9 months go free with a paying older sibling.
- Booking
- Smugglers Cove needs no advance booking. Buy online amusement-park tickets before 6pm the day before; same-day tickets are sold at the venue. The Indoor Fully Loaded deal asks for booking at least 24 hours before your start time.
- Parking
- Queens Links Leisure Park nearby lists 847 spaces plus 29 disabled bays, with free parking for its own visitors. This does not confirm permission to park there for a Codona's-only visit. Check the signs, time limits and permission before leaving your car.
- Ride access
- Codona's welcomes disabled visitors, but ride access varies by attraction. Some rides are unsuitable for guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users and may require upper-body control and unaided evacuation down steep ramps.

Younger children and older siblings
Smugglers Cove has slides, bridges, ropes and interactive soft play. Little Nippers gives toddlers their own area, while Smugglers Street has a pretend shop, vets, cinema, pizza restaurant, fire station and Starbucks cafe.
Little Nippers has a 42-inch maximum height, while the main Cove and outdoor tree huts have a 58-inch maximum. An adult must accompany children in both areas; check adult admission charges when planning your budget.
Older siblings can choose bowling or golf, or laser tag from age 6 and gel blaster from age 8. Karting and rides have their own height rules, so check those before promising a particular activity.
Making a wet-day plan
Use Smugglers Cove, bowling, indoor golf, the arcade or laser tag as your indoor plan. The rides, outdoor play and Pirate Island golf are outside.
Karting cannot run while the track is wet, and very poor weather can close the amusement park. If those activities are the reason for going, check conditions before you buy.
Choosing tickets and bundles
Choose the activities your family will actually use before comparing individual prices with a bundle. An amusement-park wristband does not cover every activity across the complex.
Online wristband orders must be redeemed together, and booked dates and time slots cannot be changed. Check the exact product's inclusions and terms before paying.
Access, buggies and baby facilities
Ride access varies. Some rides are unsuitable for wheelchair users or people with limited mobility, and may require upper-body control and unaided evacuation down steep ramps. Ask about the particular activity your child wants to use.

Food and breaks
There are restaurants and snack bars across the complex, including Big Mannys' Pizza and Starbucks coffee. Smugglers Cove also serves snacks and homemade bakes. Ask staff for allergy information before ordering.
