Countesswells
Woodland trails at Countesswells pass mature trees, replanted areas and views over surrounding farmland. Families can choose a shorter circular walk such as the Lime Avenue Trail.
Before you go
The 1.5-mile Lime Avenue Trail is moderate, with uneven sections and possible mud after rain. Other routes include steeper slopes, roots and rocky ground. Parts of the woodland are recovering from storm damage and being replanted. Parking charges apply; toilets are in Cults and Kingswells. Check for ticks after your visit and remove them promptly.
