Culbin
Pine woodland and gravel tracks stretch towards the Moray coast at Culbin. The shorter Gravel Pit Ponds Trail gives families an easy introduction, with ponds, birds and places to stop along the way.
Before you go
The one-mile Gravel Pit Ponds Trail is easy, with gentle and short moderate slopes. The longer Hill 99 route has steps up to its viewing platform. Toilets, including baby changing, are seasonal from April to October. Parking charges apply. Watch children closely beside open water. Wear a life jacket if entering the water and avoid alcohol near or in it. Check for ticks after your visit and remove them promptly.
