Faskally
The Dunmore Trail loops around a small loch among mature trees, a boathouse and a wooden footbridge. Families can take a shorter woodland walk and look for kingfishers, herons and ducks.
Before you go
From 7 October to 8 November 2026, the Enchanted Forest event closes Faskally car parks from 4pm to 11pm. Trail closures and diversions may also apply. The three-quarter-mile Dunmore Trail is easy, with short moderate slopes and some uneven sections. Parking charges apply. Watch children closely beside open water. Wear a life jacket if entering the water and avoid alcohol near or in it. Check for ticks after your visit and remove them promptly.
