Why visit
It gives you a high-payoff short walk: big trees, river drama and Ossian's Hall without needing a full-day hike or a formal attraction ticket.
Access
Use the wider track to Ossian's Hall if you need the easier route. The riverside option has steps, uneven ground and slipperier footing.
Toilets
The official Hermitage planning pages do not list toilets or baby changing, so it is best to use facilities in Dunkeld before or after the walk.
