Our family take
Choose this for a child who likes playing shops, dressing up or looking after toy animals. It suits a short indoor outing, especially around ages two to six. Children looking for big climbing frames and slides may prefer a conventional soft play.
- Check your session. Parties can close general play, and unbooked days may finish early or close altogether.
- Entrance step. There is a small step at the main door. Contact the venue before booking if you need a step-free entrance.
The practical details
Plan your visit
- Ages and supervision
- Designed for ages 1–8, with ages 2–6 the strongest fit. Older children are welcome at the adult rate and must be mindful of younger visitors. Parents and carers supervise throughout.
- Prices
- Standard child sessions for ages 1–8: £9.50 for 60 minutes, £10.50 for 90 minutes or £12 for 120 minutes. Adults and over-eights £1.60 each. Babies aged 6–12 months have a separate tariff. Check the booking total and current offers.Current session prices
- Booking and timing
- Book ahead to secure entry. Walk-ins depend on space, and private parties may take over the venue. Arrive five minutes before your session. Check your date rather than relying on a fixed daily closing time.Check the booking calendar
- Address and parking
- 3 King Street, Kilsyth G65 0AP. Parking is available nearby; check local signs for restrictions and charges. The map point is approximate: use the street address for arrival.
- Access and buggies
- A small step at the entrance comes before ramps inside to the café, toilets and both seating areas. Play areas can accommodate wheelchair users, with toys moved if needed. Ask about the entrance and your own access needs before booking. Indoor buggy parking is available.
- Café and food
- The café sells cakes and hot and cold drinks. You can bring your own food and drinks, but nothing containing nuts. Eat and drink at the tables, away from the play town; do not share food between families. Card payments only.
- Toilets and changing
- Toilets are available. Use the designated nappy-changing areas; ask the venue about the changing setup if you need particular equipment.

Make it work for your family
What children can do
Children can fill a trolley and work the supermarket till, dress as firefighters, examine toy animals at the vet or make pretend meals in the play café. There are more than ten zones, including a school, hair salon, construction area and mining tunnel.
A small baby sensory area gives younger siblings space to crawl and explore textures, colours and sounds. Staff may join in the role play, but adults remain responsible for their children.
Choosing a session
For a first visit, start with 60 minutes and see how your child takes to the town. If they want to stay longer, ask about adding 30 or 60 minutes; this depends on space that day.
Bring socks or slippers for children and adults for the shoes-off play areas. The entrance door is secured: use the doorbell when you arrive.
If busy spaces are difficult
Rainy days and morning sessions often attract more visitors, but a quiet session cannot be guaranteed. General play is capped at 30 people including adults, so a full session does not mean 30 children.
Contact the venue to discuss your child’s needs and leave a note when booking. The virtual walkthrough can help you look at the layout together before visiting.
Add some outdoor time
If the weather clears, Burngreen Park offers a local playground stop in Kilsyth. Colzium Lennox Estate is another option for a walk. Keep either as an optional extra after play rather than buying a longer session to fill the day.
