Port Ann
The Otter Ferry Trail follows Loch Fyne towards the remains of a ferry hamlet and quay. Families wanting a longer woodland and shore walk can explore local transport history and look for birds along the water.
Before you go
The 2.75-mile trail is graded moderate, with uneven or muddy ground, long moderate slopes and some steep sections. Toilets and refreshments are in Lochgilphead. Watch children closely beside open water. Wear a life jacket if entering the water and avoid alcohol near or in it. Check for ticks after your visit and remove them promptly.
