Reelig Glen
The Tall Trees Trail explores a wooded gorge beneath very tall Douglas firs, cedars and spruces. A family walk can include the old stone bridge and grotto beside the Moniack Burn.
Before you go
The one-mile Tall Trees Trail is moderate, with steep slopes, steps, muddy or uneven sections, a narrow bridge and a short road section. The Upper Reelig Trail is strenuous. Public toilets and places to eat are in Beauly. Watch children closely beside open water. Wear a life jacket if entering the water and avoid alcohol near or in it. Check for ticks after your visit and remove them promptly.
