Rowardennan
The short Ben Lomond Memorial Trail leads through woodland to Loch Lomond’s shore and a memorial sculpture. It offers families a gentle lochside outing at the foot of Ben Lomond, separate from the mountain climb.
Before you go
The Memorial Trail is a quarter-mile easy route with smooth gravel and short ramps. Toilets are normally open from Easter to October. A dated 29 October repair notice affects the main Ben Lomond hill path; check current alerts before using summit routes. Parking charges apply. Watch children closely beside open water. Wear a life jacket if entering the water and avoid alcohol near or in it. Check for ticks after your visit and remove them promptly.
