Three Lochs Forest Drive
A seven-mile, one-way forest drive passes three Trossachs lochs, with picnic spots and shorter walking trails along the way. It gives families a scenic drive with places to stop when the vehicle route is open.
Before you go
The drive is closed to public vehicles for winter and is due to reopen in spring. Loch Drunkie toilets also close for winter. Storm-fallen trees block the green Drunkie Trail and a section of NCR7 between The Lodge and Loch Venachar. Walkers and cyclists have two-way access, so drivers must watch for them when the drive reopens.
Seasonal opening. Check dates before you go.
