Our family take
Choose it for a short indoor outing with younger children who like pretend play. The café makes it easy to include a snack or lunch, but you still need to supervise throughout the session.
- With older children. The play area is for children up to age 5. Choose a larger soft play venue if older siblings want bigger frames and faster slides.
- Booking. Book in advance. Sessions have limited spaces and bookings are non-refundable.

- Daily 90-minute sessions are advertised at 9.15am, 11.15am and 1.15pm, with a break between sessions for cleaning. Check the sessions offered on your chosen date.

- The standard ticket for one child aged 12 months–5 years is £8.50, including two adults and booking fees. Check the current total when booking; events have separate tickets.
- Booking and changes
- Book in advance online or directly with the venue. Standard session bookings are non-refundable. Contact the venue at least 24 hours ahead to reschedule or transfer a place; event terms differ.
- Parking and access
- Ask about parking, step-free entry, buggy storage, toilets and baby changing before booking if these will affect your visit.

What children can do
Thistle Town has six role-play rooms: Tiny Tykes Theatre, Thistles & Paws Veterinary, Glesga Stamps Deliveries, Bonnies & Bubbles Laundrette, Weetrose Supermarket and Thistles Auto Shop. Children can dress up for a show, look after toy animals, sort letters, wash clothes, shop or fix cars.
Tykes’ Hollow is the soft play area, with climbing frames, tunnels, slides and sensory-friendly play areas. The mix gives younger children a choice between make-believe and more active play.
Babies and SEN sessions
The play areas are designed for children aged 12 months to 5 years. A separate ticket is sold for babies aged 0–11 months; ask which parts of the visit will suit your baby before booking.
Dedicated SEN sessions are advertised. Check their current dates and speak to the team about your child’s needs; a standard session may still be busy.
Extra tickets
For standard play, the booking page also lists an additional child ticket at £5.99, a baby ticket for ages 0–11 months at £1.50, and an additional adult at 50p. These prices include booking fees. There is a maximum of three adults per booking. Check the ticket combination and total for your group before paying.
Café and play rules
The café serves coffee, cakes, snacks, lunches and children’s meals. High chairs and child-friendly cutlery are available, and breastfeeding is welcome. Ask the team about dietary needs.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout. Bring socks for the play areas and leave shoes off; keep food and drink in the café. Arrive on time, as arriving late can mean less playtime.
