Duff House is closed on 16,18 and 23 October. In October you buy admission on arrival. Fridays exclude the galleries, so ask whether you can follow the whole trail. On weekends, allow for the 12.15-1pm lunch closure. Check the price separately if visiting on 1 November.

The mine, countermine and Bishop’s Apartments are closed. Expect grass paths and stairs to the upper areas.
